These are easy to make and many different ingredients can be added for varying taste each time.
1 cup of chickpea flour
water to make a thin batter
1/4 cup chopped onions
1 finely chopped green chilli(optional)
1 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp cumin powder
2 tbsp chopped coriander/ cilantro
1 inch ginger, finely diced or grated
1/4 cup finely chopped capsicum
1 to 2 tsp oil( for roasting the pancakes)
Mix up all the ingredients to make a batter. Add water as you mix, gradually. Grated carrot or beetroot can also be added to this.Oil may also be applied on the pan to roast the pancakes. Chilli can be added to increase the heat. Make the pancakes and serve hot, with sweet chilli sauce or garnished with onions.
